Cooper won't quit chewing on his paw. It actually looks better than it did. He's going to have to go back to the vet and they are going to give him one of those collars that looks like a satellite dish. How cool will that be?

I can't lie. This was taken the 12th, but it was a big day and there were lots of pictures. Our cousin's were there, and Josh's baby, Riley, totally stole Ashley's thunder at the party. It's okay though because he is pretty cute. I didn't hold him. I did smell him though, but not in a creepy way.

This is Adrianne. Not so long ago they discovered her brain was growing out of her skull. She has had to travel back and forth to Iowa to a specialist for surgery a couple of times. She has been out of school, and she has had this huge brace that covers half her chest. She stepped down to a smaller one and now to this little one. She has to wear it for two weeks and then will be done! It is amazing. She is amazing.

This is it... the fateful tube of chap stick. Sure it is cute -- Gushers flavor and all. Yes, it does taste delicious. It also almost ruined like 8 pairs of pants when it went through the washer. Lucky for me Cassie is a laundry wiz. She still has the 3 pairs that got the pink tube of chap stick on them. I've learned a lesson.

My father braved the weather to take me out to dinner for my birthday. He gave me a card that played the chicken dance and made me wear a sombrero, so nothing like drawing attention in a restaurant. It was so nice to see him and it was a great end to an amazing birthday.
