March 22
Went to League City to work on UMARMY. I got to see two of the coolest people on earth under the age of 5.

I had lunch with Mallory. It was beautiful outside. She took her first picture for photo a day!
The worst game of Apples to Apples because I lost horribly. Jr. Highers don't appreciate my humor.
I took the family kids to Red Robin and they thought this car in the parking lot was pretty cool. It was so nice to see them after being gone.
We went to the Nashville Rescue Mission to sort clothes and other donated items. It was so great, and the guys that worked there, Troy and Sam, were the nicest people I have ever met. I should be that kind to strangers.
Matt at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. This is where Martin Luther King Jr. was killed. It was a powerful place to see. I'm so glad we took the kids; some of them got a lot out of it. I was bummed to see my schools dark history represented there.
My best friend. The trip was so much better because she was there. I loved showing her Oxford.
I was getting ready for mystery trip and my good friend Cassie went to Target to get everything I still needed, including tennis balls for an activity. She surprised me though with new shoes and socks which I love. It's funny I took the picture that day though because she surprised me again after the trip with another pair of the same shoes for when I junk the first pair up.
Daylight savings time finally came! Now we can play ultimate again at youth and disc golf on Wednesdays. We have been waiting and waiting, but finally it's here. Kevin is a beast at ultimate. I always want him on my team because he is such a good sport too.
We are reading the Bible in 90 days at church. I am supposed to read 12 pages a day. Although I am currently about 9 days and over 100 pages behind in my reading, it has been really great. Because we are reading so fast, it is easy to grasp connections in different books and really see the big picture unfold. Plus my friends are reading it too so it has been a cool opportunity for accountability and discussion.
The Neitzey clan took me to Pat Green at the rodeo and it was a blast. We ate sausage on a stick which was delicious. I lost $2 on the chuck wagon races. That's $2 and a piece of pride I will never get back.
Cassie, Lacy, Haley and I all went to the rodeo and saw Sheryl Crow. She was very good and I had such a nice time with my friends. They are very good company and Lacy got a pink cowboy hat she says is for Anna Jane, but I have questions about that.
How wonderful is my God? This is what he brings me home to at night. There is nothing better
This was totally taken on March 4. I cheated already. George and Cassie, my dearest friends and super devoted volunteers.
Tara Leigh Cobble came to JW for the Celebration of Summer. She is now best friends with every junior high girl we have. She was funny and talented and genuine. I was impressed to watch her be totally present with whoever she was speaking to. A skill I could use some work on.
We painted my Mom's house hoping it will sell. I spent three hours there and managed to paint under the chair rail on two walls. I'm so slow.
Confirmation Retreat Camp Jam
This is Miss Pauline. I visit her every Thursday and she is quite amazing. She is 85, and I always leave her house happier than I came. This day we talked about boys and how she met her husband on a blind date. She doesn't think she would take another man now because she is blind an would not be able to know if he was good looking enough.
I was driving down the road and stopped for this tree. I just couldn't help but imagine God on the phone with the pope or someone and doodling with a purple colored pencil. My doodles look like crap; his look like this. Someting that makes you stop while driving to work. He has created and is creating.
