April 29
The youth gave me cake and Barb gave me cupcakes for my birthday. It was awesome, they were so nice. I wish that I could have hung out with them more but we had the building committee vote. I blew out all of my candles.

For 30 Hour Famine the youth were given $20 and an hour to bring back as much food for NAM as possible. The three groups brought back over 450 items. It was great and Guy got his flower bed weeded.
For 30 Hour Famine we went to the baseball game.
Justin has been working on fixing his old bike up for his brother and he brought it to the coffee house to show us.
My sister... she is graduating in May and moving, but she has been in town the last two Wednesdays tutoring kids. I don't understand her science nonsense. Something about studying unicorns and magic beans.
I converted my to do list which is usually at least two legal pages long to digital. I was so proud of myself. I think it will really cut down on the time I waste making a to do list. There just seems like there is something wrong when it is that time consuming.
I went to the doctor for the first time in at least three years. He said I'm well. I don't think that he needed to add, "Ha, your twenty-four and don't participate in ANY risk taking activities... trust me your fine." Felt a little lame.
What a crazy long day doing lots of things that don't have to do that much with youth. So such a bright spot to see at the end of the day that they think if God had a myspace he would put Lonesome Dove as one of His favorite books.
I went to the Jimmy Buffet concert. It was so fun. I've never seen more drunk white guys in shirts with floral patterns. It was so beautiful outside. There were bars set up in the dug out of Minute Maid. It was crazy. Such a good time.
I have had more milk duds since becoming friends with Cassie. Maybe more than my other 24 years put together. I took her lunch Friday - chick fi la and milk duds. mmm...
I got a new watch. It looks a lot like my old watch. Maybe I should have waited until the weekend to buy it, but at least I can quit going crazy about not knowing what time it is.
This is the massive stack of books I would love to read when one day I finish reading the Bible. 90 days have come and gone. Hopefully I will get it done in about 120 days. I'm on Mark. This stack does not include the books I have at work.
For some reason today I was so happy that this is my dining room wall. I pass it countless times a day and don't think about it, but today I did. I claimed it and ran with it.
Guitar Hero has taken over the lives of our youth. They actually just voted for guitar hero to be our summer youth theme. What the heck am I going to do with that? I won't lie though, I'm pumped to have Jesus playing a Gibson on the tshirt.
This is Derreck. He is our new summer intern. He has a heart for missions and is passionate about God's love. I'm pumped to spend the summer with him. I kind of feel like we hit the intern jackpot with he and Madison.
When we were cleaning this weekend Cassie found the perfect basket for oranges, clementines to be exact. I had just been thinking, "if I only had a place on my desk to keep my orange." My life is a little more complete now.
Oh... miss pauline. Your fashion sense is such an inspiration to me. Actually I hope that I can still sit like that when I'm 60 much less 85. She sat like that for an hour while we talked.
The room outside of my office was filthy after the last remix class ended. We spent about 7 or 8 hours cleaning this weekend and now it is spotless.
My mom gave me money to go shopping for clothes for my birthday! Today I spent about half. I felt like crap - two strangers asked me if I needed to sit down.
Cassie's dad gave her a bunch of boxes on easter that had belonged to her Mom. Although the coat she got was really nice, Harper found a bunch of stuff that was not so attractive. She thought it was though.
I hung out the whole day with Lacy and then went out for Phil's birthday at Rudy and Paco, not peruvian tacos.
The coffee house girls stealing my lunch and everything else I own even after I game them such a cool hat.
I love lists. I am never productive without them. My new system for cleaning the house = post it notes
With 2 miles left I was so excited to see my odometer hit 55555, then I totally missed it and didn't realize it for another 23 miles.
Opening day was a blast. Standing Room Only tickets are not the best, but we had a great time anyway, until... bottom of the ninth, two outs, full count. All I have to say is, Brad Lidge, it must suck to suck.
We spent time trying to catch up on the Bible in 90 days. We probably spent too much time talking, but that was nice too. It was such a beautiful day to sit outside with my friend.
This is the day I lost $5 to George. It was well worth the entertainment watching him wear this rediculous for all of lunch.
My fridge is full of great food choices... vanilla snack pack, ketchup, tomato sauce, strawberry jelly... yep that's it.
Playing disc golf at the coffee house... Layne was being sweet, Griffin was being innapropriate.
Even fake vespas look cool at 6:15 in the morning at Starbucks for Breakfast Club. I hate getting up early so so much.
SPIN Youth Worship- they did such a great job. The whole night went really well. The sixth graders were in charge and it was the best SPIN yet.
I was very surprised to find such a mysterious encouragement in my yard when I came home late one Sunday night. I had no clue what I had done to deserve such congratulations or who would have been so kind. After a couple of days of questioning friends and neighbors I found out it was Jason Trice being funny... or embarrassing me even more after my dog assaulted him.
